In July 2025, Liberia took a significant stride in its digital transformation journey with the launch of the Integrated Orange Mobile Money Platform. This groundbreaking initiative, a collaboration between Orange Money Liberia, the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), and Ecobank, is set to reshape Liberia's tax collection and digital transformation efforts [1][2][3].

The platform connects Orange Money directly with the Liberia Integrated Tax Administration System (LITAS), allowing taxpayers to make payments anytime, anywhere, without the need for internet access—only a mobile phone is required [1][2]. The Integrated Orange Mobile Money Platform has already demonstrated its potential to revolutionize tax collection in Liberia. Key benefits include:
