Doodles x Froot Loops: Limited Edition NFT Cereal Boxes Sell Out
Doodles, the popular Ethereum NFT collection, has collaborated with Kellogg's Froot Loops. The result? Custom cereal boxes featuring Doodles characters, signed by CEO Scott 'Burnt Toast' Martin. The limited edition boxes sold out quickly.
Scott 'Burnt Toast' Martin, appointed CEO in May 2023, saw a natural fit between Doodles and Froot Loops due to their vibrant colors and playful characters. The collaboration resulted in 500 custom boxes, each containing a digital collectible NFT on Coinbase's Ethereum layer-2 network, Base. These were sold at $50 each.
Martin signed a portion of the boxes, and one even included an original sketch of the collaboration. The Doodles brand has a history of such collaborations, having previously worked with McDonald's, Adidas, and musician Pharrell Williams. The Doodles-themed Froot Loops boxes sold out early on Wednesday afternoon, following the brand's flagship NFT collection's price drop from a floor of $57,000 to around $3,500.
The Doodles x Froot Loops collaboration, led by CEO Scott 'Burnt Toast' Martin, has proven popular among fans. With the custom boxes sold out, it's clear that the brand's playful and vibrant aesthetic continues to resonate with audiences.
