District's Fresh Branding Initiative: RhineKreisNeuss Unveils New Identity

Following several months of extensive collaboration with brand consulting agency gmk from Cologne, the Economic Development Office of Rhein-Kreis Neuss has unveiled its fresh new brand, encompassing both itself and the local economy.

In a panel discussion at a recent event, Dr. Simone Roth, Kirsten Wittke-Lemm, and Lindiana Asani gathered to discuss the topic of "Brand effects." The centre of attention was the newly unveiled brand, "impuls.RheinKreisNeuss," a name that has been carefully chosen following a qualitative company survey with over 30 businesses.

Robert Abts, head of Kreiswirtschaftsförderung, explained that the brand embodies the future, progress, activity, and design, all encapsulated in a neon-green logo featuring a central dot. This dot symbolizes the impulses provided by economic promotion, signifying the brand's strategic role as a central point of contact for companies, making business in Rhein-Kreis Neuss easier.

The brand's messages also highlight growth areas in the digital and sustainable transformation, aiming to secure long-term jobs and training opportunities. Landrat Hans-Jürgen Petrauschke stated that the brand's ultimate goal is to remain one of the most attractive and competitive districts in North Rhine-Westphalia and beyond.

The brand relaunch, a milestone project from the new RKNextGen concept, started with an event at the Raketenstation Hombroich. The focus of the initial brand rollout is on the main communication channels LinkedIn, newsletter, services, and events.

Work and life are both possible in Rhein-Kreis Neuss, according to the brand's messages, with a focus on so-called profiling fields divided into three areas: "Business - simply make it," "Drive innovation," and "Future as a home advantage." The brand's strategic networking creates a pulsating ecosystem full of innovation and progress.

The new identity will gradually come to life, marking a "soft launch." The brand gives companies, people, and ideas a home where they can fully unfold their future potential. The neon-green dot in the logo is more than just a symbol; it represents the impulses that will drive businesses forward in Rhein-Kreis Neuss.

The idea for the rebranding of impuls.RheinKreisNeuss came from an expert consulted, who involved marketing and branding specialists to develop the new concept. The brand was unveiled at the House for Musicians on the Raketenstation Hombroich, signalling a new chapter for business in Rhein-Kreis Neuss.
