Boasting Brotherly Magnitude: Impressive Innovations Showcased by Belarusian Companies at INNOPROM-2025
At this year's INNOPROM-2025, Belarus has made a significant impact with its impressive display of technological innovations, highlighting its commitment to advanced manufacturing, digitalisation, and industrial modernisation.
As the partner country of INNOPROM-2025, Saudi Arabia, Belarus has taken centre stage with a prominent exhibition that stands out prominently, featuring a MAZ tractor. More than 20 Belarusian companies have demonstrated their current products at the event, all of which are ready for immediate use.
One of the most notable displays is the Transformer Parking Lot model from "Mogilev Lift Machine". This innovative infrastructure solution, capable of fitting twelve or more cars in the space previously occupied by two, demonstrates Belarus's push towards smart industrial solutions and new materials. Near the MAZ tractor, visitors can also find a rotary automatic parking system, another testament to Belarus's advancements in technology.
The Belarusian stand also features smart appliances utilising Artificial Intelligence, such as refrigerators and washing machines branded "Atlant". These appliances, which can be controlled remotely, represent advancements in consumer technology and intelligent systems, aligned with Belarus's digital transformation and innovation policies.
Sustainability is another key focus for Belarus, as evidenced by the electric buses and trams from "Beltkommunmash" and the driverless tractor from the Minsk Tractor Works. These developments in electric mobility underscore Belarus's efforts towards sustainable transport and new mobility technologies.
Belarus's participation in the exhibition has also highlighted over 30 research and development projects from the National Academy of Sciences and the Minsk City Technopark. These projects cover areas such as engineering, aerospace technologies, metallurgy, and composite materials, and aim to expand Belarus's export potential, strengthen international business relations, and promote an innovative national economy focused on reducing dependency on imports and enhancing high-value domestic technologies.
Dmitry Kharitonchik, general director of the enterprise, mentioned bringing medical freezing equipment to INNOPROM, which can be controlled remotely and around the clock. This equipment, along with the other innovations on display, reflects Belarus's strategic national priorities, including the sustained development of microelectronics, robotics, and digitalisation as part of their national sustainable development strategy through 2040.
In addition to the technological showcase, the Belarusian pavilion at INNOPROM ranks third in size, not including the stands of the giants. The exhibition also features laptops and tablets assembled in the Union State, which have garnered interest. The Belarusian holding "Horizon" has been producing TVs, computers, tablets, and laptops since 2022, with a laptop costing around 26,000 rubles and consisting of 80% of its own components.
The exhibitions and business forums at INNOPROM also served as platforms for Belarus to sign contracts and deepen industrial cooperation internationally. Andrei Kuznetsov, Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, commented on their participation, stating that Russia remains their main strategic partner, accounting for about 80% of their total exports.
Alexander Yanovskiy, representative of the holding "Horizon", expressed hope that INNOPROM will remind people of their existence and show that they are keeping up with the times. Alena Perfilieva and Boris Yarkov, observers and photojournalist from a publication, also expressed interest in the Belarusian exhibits.
For the first time, INNOPROM will travel from Yekaterinburg to Minsk this fall, where an off-site exhibition will take place. Enterprises from the Middle Urals will also participate. More than half of the vehicles in the fleets of Sverdlovsk farmers are of Belarusian production, with the region purchasing 59 BELAZ dump trucks last year alone and another 19 this year.
The famous "BELAZ" brought scale models, one to forty, to avoid frightening visitors. Only one tire of human height was used for demonstration. The Minsk Automobile Plant representative, Yulia Miranovich, mentioned adaptations of the tractor for transporting hazardous goods and platform versions for garbage trucks.
In summary, Belarus's participation in INNOPROM-2025 has been a testament to its commitment to advanced manufacturing, digitalisation, and industrial modernisation. The innovations on display, such as the Transformer Parking Lot, Artificial Intelligence refrigerators, electric buses, and the MAZ tractor, have garnered significant attention and interest. The exhibition has also served as a platform for Belarus to deepen its industrial cooperation internationally and showcase its domestic technologies.
