*Arturia's V Collection 11* is venturing into the realm of software music production with a whopping seven new plugins – the star among them being Jup-8000 V, a digital resurrection of the iconic Roland** JP-8000 synth.

Trance producers turned heads back in the late '90s with this bad boy, famous for its supersaw oscillator that stacked seven detuned sawtooth waves, delivering a luscious and harmonically rich sound. Fast forward to the present, and Arturia has taken their reverse-engineering skills to new heights, meticulously recreating the JP-8000's "anthemic" tones while adding modern features like a multi-arpeggiator, polyphonic sequencer, and various effects.

The Jup-8000 V's engine modes cater to diverse sonic explorations, with seven options ranging from Supersaw to Triangle Mod, and many more being shaped via an "ultra-sharp" multimode filter with switchable slopes. To top it off, the plugin is brimming with 18 effects designed to take your productions to the next level, including the classic "trance gate" gate sequencing effect.

Arturia didn't stop there – Pure LoFi is another addition to V Collection 11, designed to replicate the imperfections of vintage hardware, ranging from tape machines to classic samplers. The trio of sound engines (Realistic Instruments, Creative Sampler, and LoFi Oscillator) take you on a journey through both synthesis and sampling, all while being swathed in lo-fi glory thanks to nine vintage hardware emulations and six processing modes that recreate digital artifacts, tape flutter, and vinyl crackle.

Joining the ranks are instruments previously released since V Collection X, such as MiniBrute V – inspired by Arturia's first hardware synth, released in 2012 – and Synthx V, an '80s Elka Synthex recreation featuring expanded polyphony, new filter modes, and modulation options.

Notably, SEM V, Arturia's take on the classic Oberheim SEM synth, has been redesigned and beefed up with a new modulation engine, effects rack, and multi-mode arpeggiator. The same goes for MiniFreak V, along with five of Arturia's Augmented series of software instruments.

Two new Augmented instruments have also found their way into V Collection 11: Mallets and Yangtze. Mallets shakes up the bright and percussive tones of marimba, vibraphone, and celeste with a cornucopia of "cutting-edge" synth sounds, resulting in a treasure trove of multi-layered presets. Yangtze follows suit with a selection of traditional Chinese instruments, including Bass Dizi, Xiao, Pipa, Guqin, Yangqin, and Erhu, all infused with a touch of futuristic synth magic.

Arturia introduces V Collection Intro, a cost-effective alternative featuring a carefully selected assortment of ten software titles. Among them are Pure LoFi, Jun-6 V, Prophet-5 V, DX7 V, MiniFreak V, Stage-73 V, Mini V 4, Analog Lab Intro, Augmented Grand Piano, and Augmented Strings.

Priced at €699/$699, V Collection 11 is an investment every music producer should consider. V Collection Intro, on the other hand, retails for €199/$199. Existing customers can look forward to an upgrade at a discounted rate.
