Aristocrat Interactive has launched a new digital platform for FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Michigan, providing an online casino experience for patrons. The move comes as the state's online sports betting and iGaming market continues to grow, with August revenues surging by 40 per cent to $312.5 million.
FireKeepers, led by CEO Frank Tecumseh, has migrated from its previous online partner, Scientific Games, to Aristocrat's technology suite. The transition includes a fully customizable Player Account Management system, a sportsbook platform, and access to Aristocrat Interactive's extensive content portfolio. This marks a significant step forward for the casino in growing its digital entertainment, as Tecumseh himself noted.
FireKeepers' contribution to Michigan's total online sports betting and iGaming revenue in August was $2.2 million. The casino first went online in July 2021 and has seen steady growth since. Aristocrat Interactive's managing director, Nir Hakarmeli, expressed excitement about bringing FireKeepers' gaming experience into the digital space.
Shares in Aristocrat Leisure Ltd (ASX:ALL) were trading 1.26 per cent lower at A$69.87 per share in Sydney earlier Monday, despite the positive news of the FireKeepers partnership. The new platform is expected to further boost FireKeepers' digital revenue and expand its reach, building on the state's strong online casino market.
