Apple unveils the potent Apple TV 4K, the latest in its series of streaming devices
The tech giant Apple has announced the latest addition to its home entertainment system, the Apple TV 4K. This new device, equipped with the A15 Bionic chip, promises improved performance and energy efficiency.
Apple TV 4K is designed to minimize its environmental impact, using 30 percent less power than its predecessor while delivering more powerful performance. This makes it an attractive choice for those seeking a balance between technology and sustainability.
The new Apple TV 4K supports both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, expanding the range of TVs that can benefit from its rich visual quality. It also offers a home theater experience with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital 7.1, or Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound for immersive audio.
For music lovers, Apple Music offers access to a catalog of over 100 million songs, along with expertly curated playlists, music videos, and original content from respected figures in the music industry.
Apple Fitness, an award-winning fitness and wellness service, is also available in 4K Ultra High Definition on the new Apple TV 4K. With over 3,000 workout content, users can stay fit and healthy from the comfort of their homes.
The new Apple TV 4K is an entertainment powerhouse, bringing the best video and audio capabilities to the biggest screen in the home. It offers access to over 100,000 movies and series to buy or rent, and direct premium subscriptions to popular streaming services on the Apple TV app.
Apple has also introduced 'Apple Juice Spritz' in October 2022, which will be available from November 4, 2022, in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia.
AppleCare+ will be available for Apple TV, providing three years of technical support and additional hardware coverage, including unlimited incidents of accidental damage protection.
tvOS 16 updates include a redesigned Siri that recognizes each user's voice for tailored recommendations and control of Apple TV. The Siri Remote, included with the new Apple TV 4K, has the same design and functionality as the previous generation and adopts USB-C for charging. It can also be purchased separately for $59.
The new Apple TV 4K is available in two configurations: Apple TV 4K (Wi-Fi), which offers 64GB of storage; and Apple TV 4K (Wi-Fi + Ethernet), which offers support for Gigabit Ethernet for fast networking and streaming, Thread mesh networking protocol to connect even more smart home accessories, and twice the storage for apps and games (128GB).
The new Apple TV 4K also offers premium drama and comedy series, feature films, documentaries, kids and family entertainment, and live sports. Cross-device connectivity enables developers to integrate personalized experiences between iPhone, Apple Watch, and Apple TV apps.
Apple TV 4K can securely connect to compatible smart home accessories, set scenes, control smart home while away, and run automatically. iCloud Shared Photo Library on Apple TV allows family members to enjoy everyone's photos together on the big screen.
Lastly, Apple Arcade on Apple TV features award-winning premium games with new titles and content updates added weekly, all without ads or in-app purchases. Customers can order the new Apple TV 4K beginning today, with availability starting on November 4, in more than 30 countries and regions, including the US.
