Introducing AppleCare One: A Revolutionary Device Protection Plan

Apple has unveiled a new subscription-based device protection plan called AppleCare One. This innovative service, starting at $19.99 per month, consolidates coverage for multiple Apple devices under one plan, offering unified protection for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and more.

Key Features of AppleCare One

  • Coverage Scope: AppleCare One covers up to three Apple devices for a base price of $19.99 per month. Additional devices can be added for $5.99 each per month.
  • Accidental Damage & Repairs: The plan includes unlimited repairs for accidental damage, such as drops or spills, and covers battery replacement service.
  • Theft and Loss Protection: AppleCare One expands theft and loss coverage beyond iPhone to also include iPad and Apple Watch for the first time.
  • 24/7 Priority Support: Subscribers gain round-the-clock priority access to Apple experts for support.
  • Device Flexibility: Users can swap devices in and out of the plan at any time. If a covered device is traded in through Apple, the new device automatically replaces the old one in the plan.
  • Existing Device Coverage: AppleCare One allows customers to add eligible Apple devices they already own, provided the devices are up to 4 years old and in good condition.
  • Cost Efficiency: The pricing does not vary based on the types or models of devices covered, potentially saving users up to $11 per month compared to separate AppleCare+ plans for each device.

Who Benefits from AppleCare One?

AppleCare One is particularly attractive for users with multiple devices, families sharing Apple products, users with older devices, and current Apple One subscribers. It offers a simplified management solution for multiple device protection needs, allowing users to maintain coverage as long as needed, with the flexibility to add or remove devices at any time.

While AppleCare One does not immediately replace AppleCare+, users may have the option to upgrade or transition to it in the future. If a user is already paying to protect multiple Apple devices or subscribing to Apple's services individually, it may be worth considering AppleCare One to see if it fits their needs.

Availability and Enrollment

AppleCare One will be available in the U.S. starting July 24, 2025. Users can subscribe via iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple’s website, or Apple Stores.

With AppleCare One, Apple has modernized its device protection, providing a flexible, comprehensive, and cost-saving subscription plan that covers multiple devices with expanded theft and loss protection and the ability to include older devices already in use.

  • Modernized Device Protection: AppleCare One offers a flexible, comprehensive, and cost-saving subscription plan that incorporates technology to protect multiple devices, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and more.
  • Flexibility for Expanding Technology: With AppleCare One, users can add eligible Apple devices they already own, regardless of their age, provided the devices are in good condition. This allows users to expand their technology arsenal as needed and maintain protection under the same plan.
