The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has rolled out two advanced AI-powered tools on its iVestor app, intended to bolster the accessibility and comprehension of company information for investors.
The innovative tools, dubbed Smart Disclosures and Financial Summary, aim to ease the decision-making process and simplify financial data presentation for users. These enhancements were unveiled at the 3rd MENA Capital Market Summit, held from May 6-7 at Madinat Jumeirah.
Apart from streamlining shares trading of DFM on the app, these updates are part of a broader overhaul of the iVestor platform. The Smart Disclosures function uses AI to distill key points from lengthy company announcements, condensing them into a tidy, easy-to-understand format. The Financial Summary tool offers a brief, easily-digestible synopsis of a company's financial health, with a focus on vital metrics like revenue, profit, and earnings per share. These tools are designed to save investors valuable time and help them make wiser decisions with less exertion.
DFM CEO Hamed Ali stated that these new tools cater to the mounting demand for user-friendly, digital-first investment solutions. During the summit, he emphasized that these tools align with the growing preference for digital solutions that offer greater convenience, while supporting an informed and engaged investor base.
The iVestor platform saw a significant transformation in 2024, becoming a comprehensive investment platform. With over 240,000 users from more than 100 nationalities, iVestor rapidly emerges as a key entry point to Dubai's capital markets.
