Additional Oasis x Adidas Sneakers Set to Arrive
Rumors have been circulating that the latest collaboration between iconic British band Oasis and sports apparel giant Adidas will be exclusive to Japan. According to confirmed reports, the collection will indeed be launching on September 24, and will only be available in the Land of the Rising Sun.
The collection, which includes a new line of sneakers, features a special box designed exclusively for the collaboration. Among the new releases are two pairs of shoes from the Liam Gallagher x Adidas Achille SPZL series and the Noel Gallagher x Adidas Marathon SPZL series.
The first Liam Gallagher x Adidas Achille SPZL, which was launched last month, has been a hot item on secondary market sites like StockX and GOAT, with prices reaching serious amounts. The second pair in the series, set to be released on September 24, departs from the light, neutral tones of the first pair. The second Liam Gallagher x Adidas Achille SPZL features a burgundy nylon upper, brown suede overlays, and tan leather details. It also boasts a serrated rubber sole, a signature feature of the Achille since the early '70s.
The second pair in the Noel Gallagher x Adidas Marathon SPZL series, on the other hand, features a black body with red accents. Both pairs sold out nearly as fast as the Oasis tour, demonstrating the high demand for these limited-edition shoes.
In addition to the special edition shoes, the collection also includes extra laces for customization, allowing fans to add their own personal touch to their Oasis x Adidas sneakers.
The boys (presumably Oasis members) are returning to Wembley three days after the launch of the latest Oasis x Adidas collection. It remains to be seen if any of the new shoes will make an appearance on stage during their performance.
The latest Oasis x Adidas collection will be available via Adidas and select stockists in Japan. However, it has not been confirmed whether the collection will be available globally. For now, fans outside of Japan will have to wait and see if they'll get a chance to cop a pair of these exclusive kicks.
